Holidays
A list of the current year term dates is given below. On this your attention is drawn to the Education Act, allowing a pupil not more than two weeks absence in any year in order to take an annual family holiday. All holiday requests must be made on the school holiday form. Authorisation of holidays is at the discretion of the Head. Please note that all of the schools in Rotherham have agreed that holidays during the autumn term will NOT be authorised. This is because attendance in the autumn term has been shown to have a huge impact on a child’s progress during that year.
